Projeto Beyond Oscar
Idealizado por Aurélie Monet Kasisi e Laura Baer, o projeto Beyond Oscar busca mapear e identificar as influências e motivações que estão por trás da arte, arquitetura e design produzidos no Brasil.
"The Beyond Oscar project was launched in 2013 based on the idea of exploring the prevailing trends of contemporary Brazilian practices in architecture, art and design. We have been conducting an extensive research documenting the intellectual and practical approaches adopted by some of the country’s most emblematic figures as well as the young and emerging generation. We have been focusing particularly on the various influences, processes, ideas and values that inform the work of those contemporary protagonists, as well as how they position themselves in relation to Brazil’s tremendous historical and cultural heritage."
